Bill founded Earth Elements to offer property owners a premium alternative to traditional irrigation, lighting, and outdoor audio services. Recognizing the challenges Muskoka properties face—poor soils, hot summers, and outdated systems—he developed smart irrigation solutions that are efficient, reliable, and tailored to the landscape.
But Bill’s vision expanded far beyond irrigation. He saw the potential to elevate outdoor living through professionally designed landscape lighting and seamless, high-performance audio systems. Today, Earth Elements continues to deliver lighting that enhances the natural beauty of Muskoka while improving safety and usability, and audio systems that immerse you in sound without disrupting the landscape’s aesthetic.

As Earth Elements evolved, so did Bill’s passion for innovation. He pursued advanced training in landscape lighting and brought premium product lines and design expertise to clients looking to transform and extend the usability of their outdoor spaces.
With a deep focus on education and collaboration, Bill ensures that every client receives a solution customized to their property’s needs. His thoughtful approach balances beauty and performance, helping homeowners rediscover and fall in love with their landscapes.
Bill’s Expertise: Rooted in Turf
Bill’s journey began at Greywolf Golf Course in Panorama, BC—nestled in the rugged Purcell Mountain Range—where he honed his craft maintaining exceptional turf in mountain conditions. That experience inspired him to complete a Turfgrass Management diploma from Olds College in Alberta, earning designations as a Turf Grass Specialist and Golf Course Superintendent.
Over the next eight years, Bill worked across top-tier golf courses, gaining expertise in irrigation, turf health, and sustainable landscape practices. His return to Ontario sparked the launch of Earth Elements—a company built on craftsmanship, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
Rooted in Muskoka: A Life Built Outdoors
Now living in Lake of Bays, Ontario, with his wife Melissa and their children, Abby and Charlie, Bill has made Muskoka home in every sense of the word. For over 12 years, he’s poured his passion for landscaping and nature into Earth Elements—and into his own backyard.
If you’ve ever visited Bill’s property, you’d see that landscaping is more than a profession for him—it’s a way of life. His property is his passion project, where he’s transformed the surrounding bush into a safe, beautiful space for his kids and family to explore, grow, and connect with nature.
As his children grow, Bill has made it a priority to spend more time with them. To support this, he’s brought on a few key staff members who have played a major role in keeping Earth Elements running smoothly over the past few seasons—allowing Bill to step back just enough to enjoy the spaces he helps others create.
